Frequently asked questions about Le Massage sportif

A classic sports massage is often dynamic and superficial: friction to warm muscles, surface work to boost circulation. Le Massage sportif goes much further. It reaches deep layers, works knots one by one, integrates stretches and tissue work that most massages don't touch. It's a complete protocol, not a single technique.

Deep tissue is slow, deep and targeted. It works on chronic tensions installed deep down. Sports massage is more dynamic, faster, focused on circulation and immediate recovery. Le Massage sportif combines both. You get the depth of deep tissue and the recovery effect of sports massage in the same session.

Absolutely. This massage is designed for all stressed bodies. If you sit at a desk 10 hours a day, carry stress in your shoulders, have a locked back without playing any sport, Le Massage sportif is made for that. Deep tension doesn't only come from sport. It comes from posture, stress, life.

No. The pressures are deep but always adjusted to what you can handle. Adam communicates with you throughout the session and constantly adapts the intensity. When a knot releases, there may be a brief moment of discomfort, but it's immediately followed by relief. The goal is for muscles to let go, not for you to clench your teeth.

If you exercise regularly, one session every two weeks is a good rhythm. During intense training or before a competition, once a week. For everyday chronic tension, once or twice a month is enough. Our 5h and 10h courses are designed for that.

Both work. Before, the treatment prepares muscles and reduces injury risk. After, it accelerates recovery and reduces soreness. Our recommendation: 24 to 48 hours after exercise is when deep recovery has the most impact.
